Sydney, Australia - Kostya Tszyu, former undisputed junior-welterweight world champion, has packed his bags and left his family back in Australia while he chases his dream as an elite boxing trainer.
Tszyu reportedly moved his family over to Russia in 2008, however they soon tired of the lifestyle and came back home to sunny Sydney to live. Tszyu, however, remained and is now living there full time away from his family.
Tszyu’s new life in Russia has reportedly seen him deviate from his prior spartan life of a boxing champion, now living in a swank penthouse apartment, employing a full time driver and developing a new-found penchant for wearing wacky hats and “Bono” style sunglasses.
The FightBeat Boxing Panel were suitably impressed with Tszyu’s move;
“The guy did what anyone else would do if they had close to a hundred million dollars and an old wife…upgrade”
There is of course no evidence that Tszyu has “upgraded” his wife, however Natasha Tszyu reportedly indicated that “men must be men” and that she would be happy if he found new love.
