After the week of controversy surrounding Jon Jones’ contribution to the cancellation of UFC 151, we will soon see if it has taken any toll on the reigning champion as he goes into battle with Vitor Belfort.
Although many people not surprisingly have Jones as overwhelming favorite, I would not write off Belfort just yet - after all, he is a former champion himself and cannot be taken lightly. In addition, Jones’ mind may be side tracked going into this fight, giving Belfort a chance to take him by suprise. I am predicting this fight to be very close and, in fact, I’m going to go out on a limb and pick Belfort to win by split decision.
Another fight to keep an eye on is the imminent war between Brian Stann and Micheal Bisping. This promises to be an amazing fight with the two hoping to gain an eventual title shot against Anderson Silva.
These two are very evenly matched so it could go either way - it’ll and come down to who wants it more.
This event is not one to be missed.
