More Event Troubles For Dana

After the UFC 151 cancellation, more problems seemed to occur yet again for Dana White in UFC 153. Firstly, Erik Koch had to pull out of the event due to an injury. Frankie Edgar stepped in to take on the main card in Rio de Janeiro, only to have Jose Aldo then step out with injury.

New Main Card

Due to this domino effect, the new main event of Silva VS Bonnar was created. Silva will move up to light heavyweight to face UFC veteran Bonnar. 

Will Silva Dominate At 205 ?

Although Silva fights at middleweight, his natural division is at 205. This move up in weight division will not effect his dominance, but with larger opponents he may not have as many first round knock outs.

The Underdog

Bonnar is going into this fight as an extreme underdog, however this is not necessarily a bad status for him. Not much is expected of him, but if he pushes Silva Like Sonnen did in the first bout between the two, Bonnar could become a major contender. 

Prediction

Silva to win by TKO in the third round. But most likely Silva will win on decision as Bonnar will absorb Silvas hit but will not be able to dish out any real punishment himself.
